Strong TIES offers an integrated approach to STEM engagement for community-building and increasing interest in STEM . Our learning Out of School Time (OST) program is a skill-building and creative-based for children and youth.
Our STEM projects are changing the way we look at the problems around us. Through project-based and experiential learning, our children explore Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics using an integrated approach to learning. This program complements the learning experience by preparing the student to learn multiple ways to solve a problem and applying project-based learning.
Innovation, Play and Discovery. In our inquiry-based STEM program, students design their own answers to complex challenges. We foster intensive, active, curiosity-driven learning. Strong TIES camps use ImprovScience playful exercises to highlight key skills needed for STEM disciplines for teaching team building, a sense of acceptance, cooperation, and skills needed for collaborative efforts.
